Post Limit Checker can be used to verify blog information, and can often help identfy scams, frauds, and hoaxes.
Here we have a person giving away her "40,000 follower" blog. But you must follow her "new" blog to be considered.
It sounds sketchy at best, so lets look further into it.
The blurry screenshot indicates 4215 posts, yet in reality there are 315 posts. So that part is an outright contradiction.
What about the follower count? Could that also be photoshopped?
Unfortunately, Post Limit Checker can't show follower count, as Tumblr considers that private.
But to achieve that in only 5 weeks, she'd have gain 8000 followers/week (1000+ per day), average, from the first day she created the blog.
126 new followers for each post she made.
You decide.
This particular "offer" is currently ongoing (10K+ notes and counting). The full original post with text is here. |
